Pretty Impressive Stuff
In this footage, we get to see the F-35 of RAF Lakenheath carry out a high key low approach, a kind of engine approach in case there’s an engine failure.
This means that this is just a simulated approach, and it shows us the approach procedure should an engine failure happen. It’s awesome to see an F-35 recover from that in such a short amount of time.
And what can we say? While the F-35 itself is not the prettiest of planes, there’s no doubt it’s impressive. That steep landing approach at 4:00 pretty much blew our minds! It’s as if a spacecraft is coming from orbit.
