Have you ever wondered what would America’s future air force look like in the next couple of decades? What insane new aircraft they would be deploying, what new jets they would be flying, and what cutting technology is right around the corner?
A Replacement to the Raptor
A prototype aircraft has already been in the works. It introduces an even more advanced weapon system, stealth capabilities, and highly advanced artificial intelligence.
This jet would be built either by Lockheed Martin or Boeing, with a possible order of 200 jets to replace the F-22 Raptor. The Raptor, it turns out, was one expensive blunder given the fact that many of America’s insurgents are living in caves.
The USAF is also looking forward to the F-15 expanding its role to the F-15EX with modern technology avionics, and weapons.
Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider
This long-range strike bomber is designed to serve as a stealthy, long-range, intercontinental strategic bomber that can deliver both conventional and thermonuclear munitions.
Its main objective is to replace the Rockwell B1 Lancer and the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit in the USAF’s arsenal by 2040.
Drone Aircraft
We can also expect to have countless drone aircraft to follow their fighter aircraft hosts into combat, doubling the numbers in the front line and overwhelming the enemy without any threats and loss of life.
Bell V-280
The US has also plans to replace other famous planes like the iconic Blackhawk.
The Bell V280 is a tilt-rotor aircraft that can carry up to troops with four crew and it can fly up to 280 knots per hour.
Top Secret Dark Star
Rumors are going around that this project actually exists, which is a sequel to the SR-71 Blackbird. It is dubbed with a variety of names such as the SR-72 Son of the Blackbird or Darkstar, but this hypersonic spy plane is no doubt the fastest man object in the sky.
It is said that it can reach speeds up to Mach 6 and fire hypersonic missiles that can reach Mach 20! Or at least that’s what it’s theorized to do.
