Hop Aboard the Berlin Express

Throughout WWII, almost 10,000 B-25 Mitchells came out of the factory to fight for the Allies in the air. Today, seeing these medium bombers out and about gets rarer by the day.

This Mitchell, which they call the “Berlin Express,” came out of the Inglewood factory in 1943. It was sold as surplus after the war until it was restored by EAA volunteers from 1975 to 1985 – that’s 10 years of hard work!

Fortunately, their years of hard work have paid off as we can see in the video. The aircraft is in pristine condition from the inside and outside, while its engines sound hungrier than ever.
