The V-2 Osprey is one of the first production tilt-rotor aircraft in the world. With a price tag of about $84 million, it can take off vertically like a helicopter but can also convert into an airplane mode, which can fly up to 300 miles per hour.
In other words, this awesome piece of engineering can fly both as a helicopter and a turboprop. These things definitely look huge in real life. It’s an awesome machine, and the size of the rotors on that thing is monstrous.
Also, from the way it’s shown in the video, there’s no doubt that it’s a remarkable aircraft with world-class operators and maintainers.
